Google Offering Customers Quickoffice iPad App For Free?

Rumours are starting to circulate, in the technology news, that Microsoft may be developing a version of Office for the Apple iPad. However, it looks as if Google may have pre-empted the idea. Google have recently announced a free version of Quickoffice for editing Word, and Excel and Powerpoint documents. Don’t get too excited just yet – Google are keen to stress this free version is only available to paying customers.
