There are many ways of making the Favorites items more flexible, for example using Google Bookmarks and once Favorites are imported into the new platform you may wish to remove the old ones. Mounting a Windows Share under AIX using CIFS

There are several options for transferring files between AIX and Windows, including NFS, SAMBA, SCP and FTP - all have there advantages and disadvantages but a recent connection method that we have been using is to mount a Windows Share as a CIFS (Common Internet File System) VFS (Virtual File System). I have a sense that mobile e-mail devices are set to dramatically increase the amount of email flowing around business, especially internal e-mail as users find the convenience of devices and the flexibility of short messages preferable to voice calls or SMS.
