Review: Jabbakam Internet Camera Starter Kit
In Summary: Jabbakam Starter Kit
The Jabbakam was surprisingly easy to setup and required no interaction or configuration other than attaching the camera to the stand, adding power, and connecting to a router. The process can be fine tuned from the website if required, for example in the motion detection process and the configuration of alerting, but it is not specifically required.
More cameras can be added, as and when required, and it really doesn’t get any simpler than that so it is a credit to Jabbakam that the process is so effective.
The online features, particularly the CMTV idea, is where the Jabbakam really comes into its own though with the ability to access snapshots anywhere, at any time, and share snapshots with others – in that sense it is about as modern as it gets.
The current price of the Jabbakam Starter Kit is just £59.95 (price checked 31st March 2012) and there are three monthly service bundles from £5.95 per month, providing 14 days recording storage, to £13.95 which includes 90 days recording storage.
If you are looking for a low-cost, fuss free, surveillance solution for your home I can highly recommend the solution from Jabbakam.
