Here are a couple more Microsoft Word productivity tips that may help when you are busy editing a document.
- Hold the Control key down whilst clicking a word in a document and Word will highlight the entire sentence.
- Triple-click a word in a document and Word will highlight the entire paragraph.
- If your Styles have gone a little awry (or you still don’t use them!) you can highlight a short section of your document then right click the mouse and on the context menu under “Styles” – choose the option “Select Text with Similar Formatting”.
- Related to the previous tip, but it still works on its own, is how to quickly remove formatting from highlighted text – just press the Ctrl and the Spacebar keys from highlighted text.
