2010 Startups Awards Finalists Announced
Startups Awards 2010 recently announced its list of finalists for new business that demonstrate innovation, determination and utter brilliance, particularly in these times of massive public sector cuts and changing economic climate.
“We were overwhelmed with the quality and quantity of the entries this year. This shortlist identifies smart entrepreneurs who have grown impressive, thriving businesses. They are the future of the British economy and an inspiration to the UK’s business community” says Sara Rizk of Startups.co.uk.
This year there are thirteen categories recognising outstanding achievement from green business innovation to social enterprise startups. For each of the finalists however reaching the shortlist means much more than just good press coverage as there are opportunities to have their businesses evaluated by an expert panel of judges including Toni Mascolo OBE, Julie Meyer, James Taylor and Emma Wimhurst.
