Get Fit And Surf The Net With VISIOweb
It must be that time of year when we start thinking about Summer and getting into some kind of shape in time for the big holiday season.
Now, I don’t know about you but I find running on a standard treadmill, or exercise bike, pretty dull so anything that can improve the experience is a bonus and certainly gets my attention.
Sitting at a computer for most of the day doesn’t help either especially when I get caught up checking email, sending that last Twitter, or checking Facebook messages.
So, when I heard about Technogym and it’s new VISIOweb system for exercise machines I had to take a look especially when you hear the phrase “Design, Wellness, and Web 2.0”.
VISIOweb integrates internet, email, television, and iPod/iPhone into a range of gym and home based exercise equipment so if you’re too busy to Facebook and Twitter because of your workout commitments you can now do both at the same time.
This is a huge step forward in exercise. After all, working out is often a social experience so what better than to integrate your online social world?
It doesn’t stop there though as VISIOweb also offers a number of additional facilities including an electronic “Guide Me” application which can teach you the basics of the equipment, a number of interactive Games to help stimulate your workout, plug-in USB Multimedia support from your USB memory stick, and the “Plug and train” feature to save your workout program onto a special key which can be used for future sessions.
The official launch is 22nd April 2010 and the VISIOweb has been integrated into the Excite+ line of equipment from Technogym as well as the new “Run Personal” treadmill – designed by Citterio.
