Is The iPad Already Old News As The World Awaits The Microsoft Courier?
Not generating as much fervour, just yet, as the heavily anticipated iPad from Apple is the rumoured Microsoft Digital Courier – a mobile device that is more like a book than any device you might have seen as yet. Finding it’s place as a “digital journal” early images indicated it has the feel of a cross between a Nintendo DSi and the Microsoft Zune, and uses a digital pen for annotating and navigating it’s screen.
The Courier is still vapourware, largely fuelled by hearsay, but if it does emerge it could find it’s place as a middle ground device, somewhere between the mobile phone and the mobile internet device (where the iPad has it’s feet firmly planted) with a small 5-7” dual display hinged to form a book like function offering additional protection for the screen.

I am watching Courier developments with interest. Would have an iPad given to me but wouldn’t buy one
