Windows Boot Time Utility – measure your computer boot time.

The current version of the free utility BootTimer, from Planetsoft.org, currently runs on Windows XP platforms and is a handy utility for getting a good understanding of your computers boot time (the time from BIOS start up to loading Windows).

BootTime is a very small command line application (128KB) which, when downloaded and installed, simply requires a reboot of your computer. When windows loads the time taken to boot will be displayed.

If you are concerned with optimising the speed of your computer, the boot time can play an important part and this utility provides a useful measurement in benchmarking this aspect of the performance of your system.
