Red Fish Shop, or to give it its proper name Poisson Rouge is an excellent and safe website to inspire children about learning and computing. An interactive site with learning games, puzzles and experiences Poisson Rouge manages to be both diverse in its activities and fun whilst adding to the learning experience for our kids.

Available in both French and English language, Poisson Rouge is set in a virtual play room where pretty much everything is clickable leading to interesting and thought provoking challenges. Some of the sections include letter and word association through large colourful jigsaws, pattern and object recognition, sound experiences and speech skills, number skills including counting and basic mathematical principles, language variations, sequence and co-ordination skills. Some of the fun games including the astronomy based dot to dot puzzles, the deep sea section (cleaning the barnacles off the whale for example), and the theme park section with lots of puzzle areas and a find the hidden object challenge to maintain the interest for the children. Navigation is quite simple, and teaches essential mouse skills, and on many challenges simply clicking on the red fish takes you back to the play room.

Kids can be left to wander the playroom of Poisson Rouge offering comfort to parents that the environment is a safe and engaging place.
