Pop An iPhone In Your Shopping Basket At Tesco
Thursday, 10 December 2009
Milk – got it, eggs – aisle three, bread – over at bakery, what else is on the list? Oh yes, mustn’t forget the iPhone 3GS, oh and don’t forget the club card points.
Tesco Mobile are planning to offer the iPhone 3GS from 14th December 2009 through Tesco Direct and more interestingly through its in-store Tesco phone shops. The 3GS adds a speed enhancement over the previous iPhone, the ability to shoot and edit video, and use voice control to say, start a call to one of your contacts.
A 12 month Pay As You Go tariff with a £15 per month top up (with £30 free credit) looks set to price the iPhone 3GS around the £440 price for the 16GB version (£538 for the 32GB) whilst a 24 month Pay Monthly tariff at £60 per month could get you the 16GB device for free (£50 for the 32GB device) – with apparently free Web & Wi-Fi (including BT Openzone Wi-Fi in the UK).
