It’s launch day and Windows 7 is out – have you decided to upgrade to it yet? Will it be Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate for you?
I would have thought Google might have changed it’s logo to celebrate the launch – especially as the interesting logo’s Google uses isn’t feeling particularly creative today. Mind you, Microsoft haven’t missed the chance – pop over to their website and revel in the Twitter reviews.
I tried installing Windows 7 last week but it was missing some essential drivers for our Toshiba Laptop – wireless networking in particular, so I am hoping some drivers will emerge shortly. Remember to run the upgrade advisor before you get started and locate your essential drivers – it will save you some pain later.
If you are running one of those weirdly cheesy Windows 7 launch parties – have a great time and don’t forget to pay a visit to our Windows 7 Resource Center with some pointers to help you get started.
It’s time to open the windows – there is a brave new world out there.
