There are a number of options for desktop visualisation software encompassing many areas of business metrics (BM), key performance indicators (KPI), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Many of these systems require a formatted data feed from your existing system then manipulate this data using custom logic to visualise and often offer interaction with important business information. Many metrics begin with a top level view which the user can then drill down into in order to explore the information further – as this information is derived from the backend business system it reduces duplication of data whilst offering new insights into existing data.
