Windows 7 RC Available On TechNet

The Release Candidate version of Windows 7 is now available for download to TechNet subscribers (30th April 2009).

While you are there you can also look at Windows Virtual PC Beta for Window 7, which has:

Windows XP Mode Beta which enables you to run many of your Windows XP productivity applications from your Windows 7 desktop.

Windows 7 RC has both x64 (around 3GB) and x86 (around 2.4GB) versions available for download, in .iso format, together with language packs for English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese. An Automated Installation Kit and Windows Driver Kit for Windows 7 RC are also available.

    After using the Windows Vista Beta, I thought I would never switch from XP, but I have been using Windows 7 for the past month on my macbook of all things, and it has been running very nicely. I can’t wait to download the RC.
