1,000 Post Celebration Competition

Here it is – the competition style give away I’ve been talking about.

This give away is to celebrate the recent milestone of 1,000 posts on www.jasonslater.co.uk and I am thrilled to announce some pretty cool things up for grabs:

1st Prize: A HP Compaq 214 Enterprise PDA (Handheld Computer)

1,000 Post Celebration Competition

2nd Prize: All the fiction books reviewed on this blog so far:

3rd Prize: An Official Monk And His I.T. Junk 2009 Calendar

To Enter: Simply answer the questions below, complete the tie-breaker, and email your answers to the give away email address (include a contact email in case you win).

The give away email address is prize1000 @ jasonslater.co.uk (remember to take the spaces out either side of the @).

Feel free to drop a short note in comments below to let me know you have entered (don’t include your personal information or the answers in your comment post!).

The closing date for the give away is 28th February 2009 and winners names will be posted on the blog shortly after. All decisions are final and prizes cannot be exchanged.

Check back on the site and contact me if you are a winner (if you haven’t heard from me). Contact details will be used only for the give away.

Let’s go with the questions:

Question 1

On my ongoing RFC reading project which RFC number was I up to on 22nd December 2008 (it might help to look under Projects) ?

Question 2

In Monk And His I.T. Junk what animal does the boss get confused as being a Cloud based operating system?

Question 3

What is the competition word on the Search Engine Research Project I am working on (it might help to search for a competition word – in the appropriate place of course!)?

Tie-Breaker

In 15 words or less complete the sentence “Blogs are useful because…”

That’s it – good luck!

Oh and if you use twitter – give me a tweet on twitter/jasonslater
