I have Vista in my drawer; my laptop is still running XP which is odd as I do like to keep up with technology (I even installed Windows Me for heaven sake!). Thinking about why I have not yet installed Vista I have come to the conclusion there is no particular reason for this other than to say XP gives me everything I need so I cannot currently see any particular reason to install Vista at the present time. A broad view of Occam’s Razor says that given two seemingly similar solutions use the simplest solution – this currently seems to fit when it comes to choosing between Windows XP or Vista. I have yet to find a compelling enough reason to move to Vista and with a new Windows platform on the way I being to wonder if I might wait to see what that has to offer.
