Whisper Bot describes itself as “…a free, simple, and secure service to provide a modern day passing of the notes between you and your friends and keep away prying eyes.”.

Sending a note is relatively painless, simply fill in a few fields and you are good to go. Once a secure message has been created an e-mail notification is sent to the recipient to alert them (though it would be useful to allow the recipient to enter their email address and agreed secret word to check for messages in case the email notification never arrives). The recipient simply clicks on the link, enters verification information and the message is presented – and an option to send a reply is given.

The system is built around privacy so storing the minimum amount of data and keeping it encrypted makes sense and it feels pretty quick too.
