I first wrote about Xobni back in May and since that time, for me, it has become a well used application that complements Outlook and adds useful functionality. Xobni describes itself as "Xobni offers a new way to organize and search your Outlook email" and is a downloadable program that integrates with Outlook to provide enhanced functionality.

Xobni adds a number of useful features to Outlook including:

• Detailed email analytical information with charts, and statistics
• Locate related people in an email thread or organisation
• Discussions listed together, in context, no matter what folder they may be filed in
• Fast email searching

I found the information panels quite useful, tell you things like who you email most, how quick people respond to you, and how quickly you respond to them. The list of files that have been exchanged with a messaging partner is also extremely useful – when trying to find that certain document.
