IT Pro are reporting in their News section that “Microsoft launches Windows Server 2008″ – apparently it will ship in 8 different versions!
Microsoft have a list of 11 reasons why we should consider upgrading our servers to the new 2008 platform at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/why-upgrade.aspx. These reasons include, amongst others, Hyper-V, Server Core, IIS 7.0 and a new TCP/IP stack.
