I am sometimes short for a witty retort; I was once stuck what to say for someone who thought they were being clever by reminding of the six P’s “Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance” shortly afterwards I thought of this retort “Pointless Procrastinating Prevents Proper Projects Progressing” which I only wish I’d have thought of at the time.

Over this weekend my sister told me a good one when I said “There is no I in team” whereupon she replied “Yes and there is no F in Pay” !

It makes me wonder how many other witty retorts there are out there. It’s always good to have them ready
