Low Carb Day 5

Submitted by jasonslater on Friday, 21 September 20072 Comments

It’s Friday and day 5 of my latest low carb regime. Last night Sharon cooked up a mean mince dinner and for the first time I wasn’t immediately on the hunt for dessert afterwards.

I’ve had my daily intake of bacon and sausages with a Coke Zero and am feeling nicely full at the moment, and I have a Red Bull drink to look forward to in a short while.

When I’ve been low-carbing before and desperately needed that ’something else’ to eat I have found the Sugarfree Superstore to have a great range of products. I would especially recommend the Woodies Bars, the DeBron Chocolate Wafers and the Bellinea Chocolate Covered Wafers - but don’t fall into the trap I have sometimes and end up eating bucket fulls of these things thinking they are safe. It is best to use them sparingly to help through the difficult times.

Mistake #8 - Not doing what it says on the tin

When you describe your Blog - potential readers may have expectations of the content - you should therefore aim to meet those expectations. For example don’t describe your Blog as being a Food based Blog then fill it with non-food Blog entries.

    :) Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Maybe you need 2 blogs? One for your personal stuff and another for your professional stuff?

I do wonder what a mince dinner is, though!
