Low-Carb

Submitted by jasonslater on Monday, 17 September 2007No Comment

It seems that every time I post a Blog entry about low-carbing shortly afterwards I fall off the wagon. This has been tricky because a number of events have happened almost back to back for some time which has made starting back on the low-carb very difficult indeed.

However, I can report I have made it through Day 1 on my latest low-carbing venture and the good news is that there are no events in the forseeable future that are threatening to push me off the wagon. Today has consisted of two peperami, sausages, tomato and egg for lunch and two cans of coke. I have had several coffees out of the machine but that’s all. Tonight we have steak for tea and I have an early night planned so if it pans out well then by tomorrow I will be most of the way through Day 2.

It takes two days to get into ketosis so if all is well then by Wednesday I should be well on the way. But that is planning way too far ahead at this stage and I need to concentrate on today. I have a packet of scratchings on emergency duty just in case I get a craving.

Fingers crossed I can get in the right mindset for low-carbing this time round.
