According to an article in IT Pro by Rene Millman, a recent study by SoftScan shows that SPAM is on the increase peaking at almost 97% in August 2007- and seems set to rise in coming months.
Well, I’m certainly spending more and more time in Mailsweeper cleaning out the rough and tumble of everyday unwanted mail and I can tell you for sure that in our organisation SPAM is most definitely on the increase and I’m really needing to make the very most of the Email Protection products we have in use. All SPAM coming in to us needs to be manually checked because one, just one, just might be a valuable order.
