Laying out the floor plan to make best use of space

Submitted by jasonslater on Thursday, 30 August 2007No Comment
It seems to be a day of finding useful nuggets on the Web today. Here is another one, FloorPlanner found here. This is a floor design planner that operates online allowing you to plan out your rooms, fill them with furniture. Once done you can print them out, save them as images or share them with your friends. The basic free version allows only one plan project but a tiered charge structure increases this and adds several other options.

Shown on the left is a floor plan I cooked up in five minutes with the program which shows how straightforward the program is to use.
