Research Aid: Time and Attendance/Access Control Solutions

Submitted by jasonslater on Monday, 20 August 2007One Comment

Unless your company is large enough to be able to place public adverstised tenders then one of the more difficult aspects of starting a project is locating appropriate Vendors of a product.

To help in this process I have listed below a number of vendors that provide Time and Attendance/Access Control Systems.

A time and attendance system is usually implemented to track employee and other personnel time whilst onsite, and often provides links into payroll systems. Time and Attendance systems are often complementary systems that use the same methods as clocking in and out but manage the phsyical access to doors and other areas. Implementing a combined solution often reduces the costs of the physical equipment and training needs of personnel.
