Oh no an update CD has arrived

Submitted by jasonslater on Tuesday, 14 August 2007No Comment

Like Monk, I’m often crossing my fingers and saying a prayer when an Update CD arrives for a piece of software I’ve been happily using for some time. More often than not it is one of the few times when I have to resort to calling support lines because the Update has changed a number of things that I’d been happy with or even worse, broken other things. Software companies need to realise that we don’t always read the manual or operate the software in the ‘intended way’ and little work arounds often become standard practices!

If you liked the Monk cartoon, you can get more Monk and help support his development over at his new home www.monkandhisitjunk.com. The site is a little sparse at the moment but the comics are in the archive section. Feedback would be greatly received to help Monk develop further.
