Day 37 - Low Carb

Submitted by jasonslater on Thursday, 5 July 2007No Comment

I don’t know what it is these days about falling off the wagon then having to run really hard to catch it up. I started out full of enthusiasm on Monday and Tuesday but Yesterday someone bought in a shed load of cakes to celebreate their first years service. The morning had already started badly as Sharon treated the kids to Eggy Bread, a slice of which I found in my elevenses snack pack. I confess that by the end of the day I had put away four cakes!

Today we had to take little Jess to the hospital to get her ongoing knee problem looked at - the X-Ray took some time so we ended up having tea in the restaurant there - Shepherds Pie followed by a Custard Slice, then on the way home sharing Jess’ ‘good girl treat’ bag of Maltesers. Now we’re having some beans on toast as a little ‘treat’!

As we have agreed to switch weigh ins to fortnightly instead of weekly I have a week and a bit to make up the lost ground but I have to get back on track and that has to start tomorrow.
