10K Hits

I noticed earlier that the IT Managers Journal has reached 10,000 hits since being reset at the end of March 2007. Monk and I just wanted to say thank you very much for all your support so far and we really look forward to reaching our next target of 50,000.
I’ve been working heavily on a few things recently. Mainly finishing off a big web design project, working on the ‘Being IT’ articles (number 6 is just about finished though I’ve yet to post Four and Five) and the ‘Monk and his IT Junk’ comic strip has moved along quite a bit:
- Max the Trainee Mouse has been renamed Brother Mouse Matt (that was Sharons idea!) and grown a little in size
- Brother Morris is now Brother Norris – A shy and retiring type
- Brother Simon is an avid blogger and computer nut
- I just need a name for the worm character who represents accessibility issues – ideas are welcome – just post them in comments.
I also finally got my Monk widget submitted to Google’s Widget page for syndication so fingers crossed they pick it up. I have also been working on something special for Monks 100th outing which isn’t too far away now but that’s under wraps for the moment – so mum’s the word.

Jason Slater is an independent technologist and blogger.
Looking forward to the cartoons!
Well done on your 10,000 hits.
