I received a nice report from SCE in my inbox this morning. This report shows the state of all the servers that are being managed by SCE and highlights any areas that need further examination. Checking out the licensing for SCE also tells me it’ll allow up to 30 servers not the 15 I had previously expected. Maybe this is due to it being a beta - I guess only time will tell.
I did discover one interesting ‘feature’ shall we call it. If you shut down the host system it doesn’t automatically shut down the virtual systems - it just powers them off so they obviously aren’t happy when they come back on and greet you with the mother of all messages “Where the hell have you been and why the hell did you switch me off?”
The other thing I notice is that the 16Gb ‘extra’ partition I created to hold the SCE updates and SQL has run out of space. Not by SQL, but by the updates - 12Gb of them so far and SCE wanting to download more. Eek.
Oh and did I say I’m on holiday today?
